Client Relations Specialist – Auto Insurance

Are you skilled in managing auto insurance inquiries and providing exceptional client support? We have an exciting opportunity for a Client Relations Specialist focused on the auto insurance sector.

Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in Canada. This position does not offer sponsorship for employment visas or work permits.

The compensation for this role ranges from $47,400 to $57,000, with the final salary determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills, along with internal equity considerations. Aon also provides a bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Daily Responsibilities

In this role, your daily tasks may include:

Assessing client inquiries and delivering information on products and services to align with customer needs. Processing new registrations, renewals, and modifications for individual and fleet clients. Promoting and clarifying coverage options and additional products available within the auto insurance framework. Maintaining a thorough understanding of auto insurance products and guidelines, staying informed on updates and changes. Managing an established portfolio of Commercial Auto business. Developing documentation, processes, and policies as necessary. Assisting account management teams with inquiries related to commercial auto plans. Executing other related tasks as assigned.

Unique Aspects of This Role

At Aon, you will primarily engage with commercial clients, including national and global accounts. Enjoy a work schedule free from weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts, with no sales targets to achieve. Comprehensive training will be provided on all aspects of fleet management and related policies.

Qualifications for Success

Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto insurance. Familiarity with auto insurance batching and inventory management. Knowledge of fleet and garage policies is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as most client interactions occur via phone and email. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. A valid Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia (IBABC) Level One (1) License is required.
