About the Role
The University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team in the Joint Department of Medical Imaging (JDMI). As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional diagnostic services and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
- Prepare and document patient reports, participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, adhering to UHN's standards of excellence.
Requirements
- Certification by Sonography Canada or equivalent, with current registration with the CMRITO and completion of a BCLS program.
- Ability to work accurately, safely, and efficiently in a high-volume setting, with strong inter-professional and collaborative approach to practice.
- Ability to learn new skills and adapt to process changes, with a commitment to ongoing education and quality assurance initiatives.
