About the Role:
The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at the Veterinary Medical Centre. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide high-level support and coordination to our veterinary medical centre, ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide recruitment support, including job profiling, advertising, and interview coordination.
- Develop and maintain HR systems, documents, and resources for the centre.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation, employment law, and university policies and procedures.
- Provide generalist HR support, including day-to-day employer and employee issues and concerns.
- Assist in the implementation of HR programs and projects.
- Build and maintain exceptional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Relevant university degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of generalist Human Resources experience, preferably in a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high standard of professional integrity.
- Familiarity with university systems, such as PAWS, AboutUS, and ATS, is an asset.
