Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary:

The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to provide support to the Veterinary Medical Centre. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level support and coordination to the Veterinary Medical Centre, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Develop and implement HR systems, documents, and resources to support the Clinic.
  • Build and maintain exceptional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with collective agreements, labour legislation, employment law, and university and clinic policies and procedures.
  • Assist in various HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide generalist HR support, aiding the smooth functioning of the day-to-day human resources function.
Requirements:
  • A relevant University degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of generalist Human Resources experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in a diverse and inclusive environment is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, exemplary interpersonal skills, and a high standard of professional integrity in handling sensitive information.
