Position Overview

As a Recreational Therapy Assistant at Pro Vita Care Management, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging recreational activities and therapeutic programs.

Work Environment

Your work setting will primarily be within a nursing home or senior care facility, where you will collaborate with a dedicated team to provide exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer assessments using specialized equipment, guide patients through testing procedures, and accurately document results.
  • Support healthcare professionals in delivering comprehensive care.
  • Implement treatment plans under the supervision of physiotherapists and occupational therapists to assist patients in their rehabilitation journey.
  • Create informative materials tailored for patients to enhance their understanding of therapy.
  • Follow up on treatment plans, ensuring consistent support for patients.
  • Gather and maintain statistical data related to patient progress.
  • Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies.
  • Document the rehabilitation progress of patients meticulously.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the team.
  • Coordinate and facilitate recreational activities that promote engagement and well-being.
Qualifications
  • Certificates: CPR Certificate required.
  • Specialization: Focus on recreational therapy.
