Event Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at Stars Event Decor. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various events, conferences, and meetings.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote Conference and Meeting Services: Develop and implement strategies to promote our conference and meeting services to potential clients.
- Prepare and Manage Budgets: Create and manage budgets for events, conferences, and meetings, ensuring that expenses are within allocated limits.
- Develop Sponsorship and Partnership Programs: Research and develop sponsorship and partnership programs to secure funding and resources for events and conferences.
- Coordinate Event Logistics: Arrange for production and purchase of promotional products, coordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other event details.
- Implement Social Programs: Plan and implement social programs, food and beverage services, transportation, and other event-related services.
- Plan Schedules and Goals: Develop and implement schedules, goals, and objectives for events and conferences.
- Research and Design Special Events Programs: Research and design special events programs, including planning for social events and guest programs.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in event coordination or a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
