About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations in our cafeteria.

Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Oversee and direct the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food preparation.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide comprehensive training to new staff members, focusing on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Manage Staff and Operations

Recruit, hire, and manage food service staff, ensuring a skilled and motivated team that meets our high standards.

Ensure Quality Control

Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional dining experiences.

Prepare and Manage Budgets

Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.

Maintain Accurate Records

Keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.

Prepare and Submit Reports

Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Supervise Food Trolley Delivery

Oversee the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role

Cafeteria environment

English
