Job Title: Director, Human Resources

Ambrose University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead our HR team and drive strategic initiatives that support the university's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the university's goals and objectives.
  • Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for faculty and staff.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, benefits administration, and pension management.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Canadian labour laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to supervisors and employees on HR-related matters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
