Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources leader to join our team as Director, Human Resources. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, this influential leader will be responsible for developing and implementing corporate human resources strategies and frameworks to support employee engagement, corporate culture, and business profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and frameworks to drive business results
  • Lead a team of five direct reports in Talent Management, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and Employee Wellbeing
  • Drive effectiveness of the company's HRIS system to support HR processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to advance the company's vision and values
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in progressive business leadership roles, including Human Resources
  • Deep knowledge of organizational effectiveness, total rewards, and employee relations
  • Experience in the energy industry is highly desirable
  • Certification as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Refined strategic planning and coordinating skills to link corporate strategy to HR strategy
