The Director, Human Resources is a key member of our leadership team, responsible for driving organizational success through people. This strategic role requires a visionary HR leader with a passion for talent management, performance enhancement, and organizational development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Lead talent management programs to attract, retain, and promote top talent.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to foster a connected corporate culture.
  • Drive training strategies to enhance Associate performance and engagement.
  • Enhance HRB Canada's commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to Managers and Associates on performance management initiatives.
  • Implement succession plans to ensure smooth transitions in key roles.
  • Establish and implement consistent approaches to employment records and compliance with labor laws.

Key Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Adult Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in various HR areas, with at least 10 years in people management and agile learning delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with strategic business needs.
  • Excellent English and French verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong personal leadership qualities and a solid understanding of business operations.
  • Forward-thinking mindset and ability to positively influence and drive organizational change.
