About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are motivated and engaged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations
    • Manage the overall operations of the restaurant, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
    • Ensure that all restaurant systems and processes are running efficiently and effectively.
    • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and train a team of restaurant staff, including shift managers, crew members, and kitchen staff.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all team members have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, including prompt and friendly service, accurate orders, and a clean and welcoming dining area.
    • Monitor customer feedback and make adjustments to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels, including food, supplies, and equipment.
    • Monitor and control inventory costs, including waste and spoilage.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the restaurant's financial performance, including sales, profits, and expenses.
    • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
