Senior Advisory Consultant

Role Overview:
In this esteemed position within our Advisory division, you will have the chance to engage in both team leadership and project management, while remaining actively involved in project execution. You will guide a team in providing strategic advisory services for both governmental and private sector initiatives, encompassing areas such as business case development, economic analysis, alternative procurement strategies, due diligence, sustainability, and asset management for significant infrastructure endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitating the enhancement of Advisory services, particularly in relation to Alternative Procurement strategies for major transportation infrastructure clients.
- Advising public sector entities on strategic procurement and capital investment for their infrastructure programs and projects.
- Assisting in the creation of procurement documentation, including various procurement methods such as P3s, CMGCs, and PDBs.
- Supporting a variety of projects through structured decision-making and options assessment.
- Contributing to climate resilience and adaptation strategies, assessments, and implementation plans for clients.
- Managing risk for both internal and external projects.
- Providing line management support by coaching and supervising team members.
- Reviewing and approving reports and project audits.
- Leading the preparation of proposals.
- Overseeing internal commercial responsibilities for project performance, including budget management and reporting.
- Engaging in initiatives that benefit the regional and global business.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A post-secondary degree complemented by over 15 years of experience in developing technical procurement documentation, engineering, or infrastructure development.
- Strong familiarity with project management methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of the engineering and construction sectors, with experience delivering projects across various domains (e.g., Built Environment, Transportation, Water, Energy).
- Expertise in risk identification, management, and mitigation strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of leading and collaborating within teams.
- Outstanding written and presentation abilities.
- Capability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
