Position Overview

MacMor Industries Ltd is in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to enhance our finance department. This pivotal role is essential for upholding our financial accuracy by ensuring the prompt and precise processing of vendor invoices and payments. The selected candidate will manage invoice processing, oversee vendor payments, and maintain accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic matching of payable documentation.
  • Reach out to vendors for any missing invoices as indicated on the unvouchered listing.
  • Input inventory payable vouchers into the system based on electronically matched information, considering applicable taxes, freight, and non-conformance issues.
  • Input expense payable vouchers into the system based on electronically matched information, taking into account applicable taxes, freight, and non-conformance issues.
  • Ensure the company maximizes vendor discounts by following up on unvouchered and non-conformance items.
  • Achieve KPI targets established by the Executive VP and Controller.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department regarding any discrepancies between vouchers and vendor invoices; document the findings.
  • Maintain auditable records and prepare monthly accrued payable lists.
  • Address inquiries from department personnel and vendors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Payable role or a similar position, ideally with a minimum of 5 years.
  • Advanced proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Email, Internet, and Windows operating systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative team player with initiative and motivation.
  • Able to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines as required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally with colleagues and externally with vendors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: Starting from $45,000.00 annually
