ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST (Winnipeg, Manitoba)
Do you have high attention to detail and enjoy working with numbers? If so we’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for this Manitoba company In this role, you will play a critical role in reviewing invoices and statements to ensure that the information is accurate and complete. Additionally, you will maintain proper back-up files and process accounts and incoming payments, and coordinating with teams as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
* Match, batch and code invoices
* Verify and process vendor payables
* Reconcile credit card charges and bank accounts
* Go on cheque runs
* Post adjusting journal entries
* Settle sub-ledgers to ledgers
* Enter data into accounting software
MUST HAVES:
* Minimum 1-2-years accounting / finance experience required
* Accounting education or related experience necessary
* Strong command of the English language, verbal and written
* Effective planning and organizational skills
* Experienced in the use of accounting software
