About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at 2823330 ONTARIO INC. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and overseeing payroll administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
    • Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
    • Assign sales workers to duties
  • Manage Sales Operations
    • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
    • Authorize payments by cheque
    • Order merchandise
    • Sell merchandise
  • Prepare Reports and Analyze Data
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
  • Resolve Issues and Improve Processes
    • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  • Manage Inventory and Cash
    • Organize and maintain inventory
    • Manage cash
  • Oversee Payroll and Performance Reviews
    • Oversee payroll administration
    • Conduct performance reviews
Work Environment

The Sales Team Lead will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to stand for extended periods.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a sales or management role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
