About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate R&D Engineer Manager to join our team at Boston Scientific Gruppe. As a leader in medical science for over 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most – united by a deep caring for human life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of R&D System Engineers in the design and development process for Medical Capital Equipment programs.
  • Develop direct reports by securing appropriate training, assigning progressively challenging tasks, and conducting formal written and verbal performance reviews.
  • Provide strategic and technical guidance to support product development and sustaining activities relating to the development and sustaining of electrical medical equipment.
  • Monitor daily work operations and provide direction and guidance (technical and professional) to staff to achieve project goals.
  • Interact with customers by meeting regularly, responding to requests, and providing project updates.
  • Engage in cross-functional, cross-site, and cross-team strategic discussions on how to drive results and efficiently execute activities.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline.
  • ~6+ years of relevant work experience.
  • ~Detailed understanding of design control process per ISO 13485, 14971, IEC 62366.
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
