About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Associate R&D Manager to lead a team of R&D System Engineers in the design and development of Medical Capital Equipment programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring program objectives are met, logistics are effectively coordinated, and budgets are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and mentor direct reports, providing training, assigning challenging tasks, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Provide strategic and technical guidance to support product development and sustaining activities.
  • Monitor daily work operations, providing direction and guidance to staff to achieve project goals.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential.
  • Interact with customers, meeting regularly, responding to requests, and providing project updates.
  • Engage in cross-functional discussions to drive results and efficiently execute activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including FDA, BSI, and EEO regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience as a Mentor and/or Coach.
  • Detailed understanding of design control process per ISO 13485, 14971, and IEC 62366.
  • Superior communication skills and strong leadership abilities.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 10-15%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with ISO 60601 and 62304.
  • Experience as a Manager or Systems Engineer.
