Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Network Systems Administrator to manage and optimize our computer networks. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless connectivity and efficient network operations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting between 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years in a related field.
Work Environment

The successful candidate should be prepared to relocate if necessary and thrive in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and facilitate access to computer networks.
  • Install and configure software applications.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and associated hardware.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of computer systems and networks.
  • Evaluate and implement computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems.
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance to network users.
  • Establish and enforce data, software, and hardware security protocols.
  • Conduct routine network startups and shutdowns while maintaining accurate control records.
  • Perform data backups and execute disaster recovery plans.
  • Set up local area networks and establish Internet connections.
  • Utilize network traffic and security monitoring tools to enhance server performance.
  • Supervise and guide technical staff as needed.

A valid driver's license is required for this position.
