As a Network Infrastructure Technician, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Network Management: You will be responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and administration of various network types, such as LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations. This includes ensuring optimal performance and addressing any connectivity issues.
  • Hardware & Software Implementation: Evaluate and install new computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to enhance our IT capabilities.
  • Technical Support: Provide prompt and effective problem-solving services to network users, resolving technical issues and ensuring smooth operation.
  • Security Measures: Implement robust data, software, and hardware security procedures to safeguard sensitive information and protect our systems from potential threats.
  • Network Maintenance: Perform routine network start-up and shut-down procedures, maintain control records, and conduct regular backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Connectivity & Optimization: Set up local area networks and connections to the internet. Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance for maximum efficiency.
