About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 1070250 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and dietary needs of our customers
    • Source high-quality ingredients and supplies to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes
  • Chef Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results
    • Provide guidance and training to ensure that all team members are equipped to perform their duties effectively
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all menu items are prepared to order and presented in a timely and professional manner
    • Respond to customer feedback and concerns in a prompt and courteous manner
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant or similar food service establishment
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Fast-paced environment
