Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Specialist, Benefits and Pension to join our Human Resources team at Defence Construction Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and promoting benefits and pension programs that meet the needs of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of group benefits and pension policies and programs
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and managers on benefits and pension policies and administration
  • Collaborate with benefits insurance providers, consultants, and government departments to implement and maintain quality total rewards offerings and programs
  • Administer DCC's Absence Support Program, Medical Surveillance Program, and federal Labour Program
  • Research and analyze industry trends and best practices to inform program development and maintenance
Requirements
  • College diploma in human resources management or related field with six years' relevant experience, or the equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of federal human resources legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide functional direction and advice to employees and managers
