The I.A.M. Labour-Management Pension Fund is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Support Specialist. This role will play a crucial part in the management of two International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) pension plans.
This is an in-person position located in downtown Ottawa, where you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Pension Fund Office Staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of two pension plans, performing a variety of administrative tasks as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service to plan members, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Pension Fund Office Staff to achieve goals and objectives, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in office administration, with a strong background in customer service and record-keeping.
- Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and SAGE, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
