Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Charter Sales Executive to join our team at Skyservice. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for fostering connections with potential clients to drive outside sales achievements and guide the sales process from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and engage new business prospects, building effective networks with potential and previous clients and other decision makers to maximize revenue;
  • Lead Generation: Cultivate new business opportunities and develop a database of qualified leads by utilizing various strategies such as networking, marketing campaigns, and alternative sales channels;
  • Proposal and Presentation: Prepare and present charter quotations to clients as required, and handle and finalize customer inquiries and bookings for charters;
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up;
  • Team Collaboration: Sell in consultation with other members of the sales team and make recommendations to prospects and clients on various service solutions offered by Skyservice;
  • Client Relationship Building: Source and develop client relationships and referrals related to Charter Sales, as well as other potential business leads related to fuel, managed aircraft, or charter;
  • Marketing Program Participation: Participate and contribute to the development of marketing programs;
  • Operator and Broker Relationships: Develop business relationships with operators and brokers;
  • Brand Ambassador: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, and act as an ambassador of the Skyservice brand externally;
  • Availability: Work some evenings and weekends, and be on call during a weekly rotation conducting charter sales.
Requirements
  • Experience: Between 3-5 years of experience in sales;
  • Education: Post-secondary education in aviation management or a related field;
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in Aviation Charter Outside Sales is required;
  • Skills: Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas related to charter sales, proficiency in generating new business and surpassing sales targets, complete understanding of pricing, profitability, and proposal models, and ability to work with little direction and under pressure;
  • Personal Qualities: Strong business acumen, polished and professional approach, strong network of contacts, ability to work well with others, and superior communication skills.
