We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at the London Community Small Business Centre Inc. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our business operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.
Key Responsibilities- Communication and Reception
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages to relevant staff members
- Respond to electronic enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Administrative Support
- Oversee the development of communication strategies to support business objectives
- Compile data, statistics, and other information to inform business decisions
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and stakeholders
- Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field
- Database Management
- Maintain and manage digital databases to support business operations
- Event Planning
- Assist with the coordination of recreational, sport, and fitness events
- Representation
- Represent the company within various economic and social organizations
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an administrative role
- Skills
- MS Windows
- Database software
- MS Office
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced office environment, providing administrative support to our business operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
