We are seeking a committed Human Resource Specialist to elevate our Product Design and Digital Marketing agency. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about cultivating high-performing teams within a dynamic agency setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment (40%)- Advertise job openings, evaluate candidates, and arrange interviews.
- Develop strategies for proactively attracting top talent.
- Create job descriptions and collaborate with management to ensure optimal staffing.
- Enhance the company's online presence and generate content for recruitment marketing.
- Oversee the careers and culture section of the company website.
- Build the organization’s reputation on job boards and listing sites.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define ideal candidate profiles that align with the organization’s core values and role requirements.
- Draft, maintain, and implement employee contracts and offer letters.
- Guide managers and team leaders through challenging conversations and conflicts, serving as a resource for all people managers.
- Monitor team engagement and turnover, providing recommendations and implementing changes as necessary.
- Design and enhance the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition for all new team members.
- Coordinate with management on employee performance evaluations.
- Review, refine, and implement various processes and policies to enhance employee experience and contribute to the agency's success.
- Organize quarterly offsite meetings and company events.
- Prepare budgets for events, meetings, and professional development initiatives.
- Support company charity and cultural events.
- Collaborate with project teams to launch training programs for interns and co-op students.
- Facilitate quarterly events and workshops in the agency's collaborative space.
- Promote hybrid work through the agency's online channels.
- Work with the administrative team to address employee equipment needs.
- Manage procurement of supplies and vendor relationships.
- Oversee co-working and office memberships.
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in human resources.
- A degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HR concepts, practices, procedures, and basic employment laws.
- Experience in a creative agency environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with HR Information Systems is preferred.
- Exhibit a high level of professionalism to earn the respect of all employees.
- Excellent organizational, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Proven capability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and other HR-related software.
