Overview

We are seeking a committed Human Resource Specialist to elevate our Product Design and Digital Marketing agency. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about cultivating high-performing teams within a dynamic agency setting.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment (40%)
  1. Advertise job openings, evaluate candidates, and arrange interviews.
  2. Develop strategies for proactively attracting top talent.
  3. Create job descriptions and collaborate with management to ensure optimal staffing.
  4. Enhance the company's online presence and generate content for recruitment marketing.
  5. Oversee the careers and culture section of the company website.
  6. Build the organization’s reputation on job boards and listing sites.
Human Resources Management (30%)
  1. Collaborate with hiring managers to define ideal candidate profiles that align with the organization’s core values and role requirements.
  2. Draft, maintain, and implement employee contracts and offer letters.
  3. Guide managers and team leaders through challenging conversations and conflicts, serving as a resource for all people managers.
  4. Monitor team engagement and turnover, providing recommendations and implementing changes as necessary.
  5. Design and enhance the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition for all new team members.
  6. Coordinate with management on employee performance evaluations.
  7. Review, refine, and implement various processes and policies to enhance employee experience and contribute to the agency's success.
Company Culture (20%)
  1. Organize quarterly offsite meetings and company events.
  2. Prepare budgets for events, meetings, and professional development initiatives.
  3. Support company charity and cultural events.
  4. Collaborate with project teams to launch training programs for interns and co-op students.
  5. Facilitate quarterly events and workshops in the agency's collaborative space.
  6. Promote hybrid work through the agency's online channels.
Operations Management (10%)
  1. Work with the administrative team to address employee equipment needs.
  2. Manage procurement of supplies and vendor relationships.
  3. Oversee co-working and office memberships.
Qualifications
  1. A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in human resources.
  2. A degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
  3. Strong understanding of HR concepts, practices, procedures, and basic employment laws.
  4. Experience in a creative agency environment is advantageous.
  5. Familiarity with HR Information Systems is preferred.
  6. Exhibit a high level of professionalism to earn the respect of all employees.
  7. Excellent organizational, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills are essential.
  8. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  9. Proven capability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Proficiency in Google Suite and other HR-related software.
