Sia Partners stands as a prominent global management consulting firm, recognized as a pioneer in Consulting 4.0. With a robust team of over 2800 elite consultants across 18 countries, we are dedicated to assisting our clients in navigating their transformation initiatives. Our presence in Canada includes offices in major cities, and we are currently expanding our reach.
We are in search of a seasoned business consultant to engage in one of our capital markets projects. The consultant will collaborate closely with proactive business stakeholders and technology teams on a diverse array of initiatives that vary in risk, scale, and complexity.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Product Owner to create, update, and refine User Stories.
- Gather and clarify business requirements in partnership with stakeholders.
- Utilize monitoring tools to oversee applications and address business or technical alerts.
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and business partners through various techniques and collaboration from initiation to completion.
- Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives in conjunction with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze intricate regulatory requirements and convert them into actionable business requirements.
- Conduct rules impact assessments and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Employ strong problem-solving skills to resolve rule ambiguities and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrate experience with the implementation of MiFID or II regulations.
- Possess extensive experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, field mappings, and transformation rules.
- Familiarity with creating traceability matrices linking regulatory rules to business requirements.
- Have a solid understanding of financial instruments relevant to MiFID regulation, including OTC Derivatives, Exchange-traded Derivatives, and Repurchase agreements.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in regulatory reporting and compliance documentation.
- Adapt swiftly to regulatory changes and document requirements accordingly.
- Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about regulatory updates.
- Be familiar with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI.
