Lead Business Consultant in Capital Markets

With a robust team of over 2800 skilled consultants across 18 countries, we are dedicated to supporting our clients in navigating their transformation projects. Our presence in Canada includes offices in major cities, and we are currently expanding our reach.
We are seeking a seasoned business consultant to engage in one of our capital markets initiatives. The consultant will collaborate closely with dynamic business stakeholders and technology teams on a diverse array of projects that vary in risk, scale, and complexity.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Product Owner to create, update, and refine User Stories.
- Gather and clarify business requirements from stakeholders.
- Utilize monitoring tools to oversee applications and address business or technical alerts.
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and business partners through various techniques from initiation to completion.
- Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze intricate regulatory requirements and convert them into actionable business requirements.
- Conduct rules impact assessments and maintain thorough documentation.
- Employ strong problem-solving skills to resolve ambiguities in rules and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrate experience with the implementation of MiFID or II regulations.
- Possess extensive experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, field mappings, and transformation rules.
- Familiarity with creating traceability matrices linking regulatory rules to business requirements.
- Have a solid understanding of financial instruments relevant to MiFID regulation, including OTC Derivatives, Exchange-traded Derivatives, and Repurchase agreements.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail to guarantee accuracy in regulatory reporting and compliance documentation.
- Adapt swiftly to regulatory changes and document requirements accordingly.
- Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about regulatory updates.
- Be familiar with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI.
