We are in search of a seasoned business consultant to contribute to our capital markets initiatives. The consultant will collaborate closely with ambitious business stakeholders and technology teams on a variety of projects characterized by differing levels of risk, scale, and complexity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to create, update, and refine User Stories.
- Gather and clarify business requirements in partnership with stakeholders.
- Utilize monitoring tools to oversee applications and address business or technical alerts.
- Communicate effectively and foster relationships with team members, stakeholders, and business partners throughout project phases.
- Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze intricate regulatory requirements and convert them into actionable business needs.
- Conduct rules impact assessments and maintain thorough documentation.
- Resolve ambiguities in rules and address regulatory compliance challenges with strong analytical skills.
Qualifications:
- Experience with the implementation of MiFID or II regulations.
- Extensive background in gathering and documenting business requirements, field mappings, and transformation rules.
- Familiarity with creating traceability matrices linking regulatory rules to business requirements.
- Solid understanding of financial instruments governed by MiFID regulations, including OTC Derivatives, Exchange-traded Derivatives, and Repurchase agreements.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision in regulatory reporting and compliance documentation.
- Ability to swiftly adapt to regulatory changes and document requirements accordingly.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying informed on regulatory developments.
- Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI.
