Brandt is in search of a Financial Analyst specializing in Accounting Systems & Projects. This position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of business systems, general ledger management, and reporting tools. The role also encompasses support for various projects related to system implementations, conversions, and enhancements aimed at improving reporting across multiple divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily upkeep of accounting systems while providing assistance to accounting teams.
  • Facilitate the planning, testing, and execution of enhancements to system functionalities.
  • Assist in the creation and deployment of a financial statement reporting tool applicable to all divisions.
  • Work collaboratively with the IT department to maintain a comprehensive database of financial and operational metrics.
  • Ensure consistent KPI reporting across all divisions.
  • Design and manage Power BI dashboards and reporting mechanisms.
  • Educate operations and accounting teams on the utilization of Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Strategize and implement enhancements to the company’s budgeting tool.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in an accounting environment with familiarity in Accounting System Software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and some experience with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Comprehension of financial metrics and accounting principles.
  • Degree or diploma in Business/Accounting; advanced qualifications or Accounting designation preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Strong performance under pressure with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
