Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst specializing in Accounting Systems and Projects. This role is pivotal in supporting the Manager of Accounting Systems & Projects by ensuring the effective operation of business systems, the general ledger, and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of accounting systems, ensuring seamless integration with internal reporting mechanisms while providing assistance to accounting teams.
- Contribute to the planning, testing, and execution of enhancements to accounting system functionalities, aimed at increasing operational and accounting efficiencies.
- Participate in the design and rollout of a new financial statement reporting tool for various divisions, along with ongoing support and maintenance.
- Collaborate with the IT department to develop and sustain a comprehensive database of financial and operational metrics to facilitate company-wide reporting.
- Work alongside operations and accounting teams to establish and maintain standardized KPI reporting across all divisions.
- Create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports for utilization throughout the organization.
- Provide training to operations and accounting teams on the effective use of Power BI and other reporting tools.
- Assist in the strategic planning and execution of enhancements to the company's budgeting tool, including annual updates and necessary maintenance prior to the budget cycle.
