Job Summary

SaskEnergy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial systems and a proven track record of delivering effective and efficient services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Systems Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial management systems to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to streamline accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.
System Enhancements and Upgrades
  • Participate in the development and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades to ensure effective and timely delivery of financial management system services.
Financial System Support
  • Provide expert support to financial system users, resolving system issues and performing general ledger posting security maintenance.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Develop and maintain general ledger accounts and transaction structures to accurately record financial transactions and facilitate reporting that meets the needs of management and external stakeholders.
External Auditor Support
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the External Auditor, coordinating the completion and delivery of working papers and assisting with the orderly processing of audit inquiries.
Requirements
  1. Education
  • Degree in Business Administration or Commerce.
Professional Designations
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
Experience
  • Four (4) years of financial systems experience.
  • Four (4) years of accounting experience.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

SaskEnergy offers a competitive salary range of $71,483 - $100,065 and a comprehensive benefits package.
