Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at the Kativik Regional Government. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring infrastructure construction contracts, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contract Management: Coordinate with contractors, professionals, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical guidance and support to Northern Villages on municipal infrastructure operations.
  • Project Monitoring and Evaluation: Conduct regular project assessments to ensure compliance with project expectations, rules, and standards.
  • Communication and Liaison: Foster effective communication and collaboration with project stakeholders, including professionals, contractors, and Northern Villages.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree in a construction-related discipline (Architecture, Engineering, or Construction).
  • Experience: At least three years of progressive work experience as a project manager or coordinator, with a focus on municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and specialized software (AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Language: Fluency in English and French, with working knowledge of Inuktitut.
