About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Healthcare Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our healthcare workers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, with a focus on resolving incidents and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Security and Surveillance: Monitor site visitors, perform ID checks, and respond to alarms and emergency requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Incident Reporting: Effectively communicate all suspicious activities, concerns, issues, and events to our dispatch team, and prepare and maintain professional reports regarding security violations and hazardous occurrences.
  • Patrol and Response: Regularly patrol the facility to prevent potential conflicts and respond to emergencies, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent, and current First Aid and CPR certification from a recognized organization.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including report writing, and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and respond to emergencies under pressure.
  • Discretion and Confidentiality: Discretion when handling confidential and private information.
  • Physical Ability: Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to pass a security clearance and obtain a security license (a valid security license is considered an asset).
