Job Summary

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Healthcare Security Officer - Patient Watcher. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our healthcare workers and visitors within our local hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to alarms and emergency requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Use excellent verbal de-escalation skills to resolve incidents and maintain a safe environment.
  • Monitor site visitors and perform ID checks in accordance with site policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed reports regarding security incidents and activities.
  • Patrol the facility regularly to prevent potential conflicts and ensure a safe environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
  • Discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to pass a security clearance and obtain a security license.

  • Prior experience working in security and customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
