Casework Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Casework Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and guidance to individuals and families facing various challenges. Your expertise in case management, coupled with your commitment to social justice, will make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive casework services, including needs assessments, goal setting, and service referrals.
  • Develop and implement individualized case plans to address client needs and promote self-sufficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with other service providers, community partners, and internal teams to ensure holistic support for clients.
  • Conduct outreach activities to connect individuals and families with available resources and programs.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and needs, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a two-year Community College Diploma in a human services field, such as Social Services Worker.
  • A University Degree in a relevant field of study, such as Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Arts in Social Services, is highly desirable.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification.
  • Minimum of two years of experience providing casework services, documenting case files, collaborating with service providers, conducting community outreach, and working with diverse populations.
