Position Overview:

NTT DATA Services is dedicated to hiring outstanding, innovative, and driven professionals who are eager to advance their careers. We are currently seeking a PLSQL Developer to contribute to our projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Client Managers, Project Coordinators, Business Analysts, and Testing Teams to ensure efficient resolution of all project-related issues, enhancements, system tickets, and defects.
  • Analyze technical issues reported by client teams, performing in-depth technical assessments to determine root causes and appropriate remediation strategies utilizing Oracle PLSQL and associated technologies.
  • Engage in Daily SCRUM meetings, planning and grooming sessions, as well as weekly status and management discussions to review progress, challenges, and solutions. Work alongside peers and leaders to propose process improvements, policy enhancements, and opportunities to elevate service quality.
  • Conduct peer testing, code reviews, and impact assessments of modules developed by team members.
  • Identify areas lacking adequate documentation and ensure comprehensive documentation is established.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Occasionally present to small groups on technical topics or demonstrate systems.
Essential Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in PL/SQL and SQL.
  • Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL development, including Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Hints, and data migration scripts.
  • Skilled in developing and debugging complex PLSQL packages that handle large datasets, Collections, and advanced PLSQL communications with Oracle.
  • Experience with DBLinks, Hints, Performance Tuning, and managing Database Locks.
  • Intermediate skills in UNIX shell scripting, including debugging and development.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Stash and GITHUB (SourceTree, ClearCase), as well as Release Management build tools (Jenkins, BuildForge).
  • Proficient in collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint) and Application Lifecycle Management tools (JIRA, PPM) or similar.
  • Experience in an Agile Development Environment with exposure to SCRUM methodologies and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Core Java Development experience.
  • Familiarity with Springboot and UI frameworks (Angular).
  • Knowledge of the US Health benefits/Healthcare domain.
  • Experience with Oracle Applications (R12).
Educational Background:

Degree: Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
