Kleinschmidt Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fisheries Engineer to lead our fish passage projects and manage a team of engineers and scientists. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing and/or managing structural, civil, and hydraulic design tasks in support of fisheries engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and scientists in the delivery of fish passage projects
- Perform and/or manage structural, civil, and hydraulic design tasks in support of fisheries engineering projects
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Manage client relationships and expectations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. fisheries engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in fisheries engineering or a related field
- Proven track record of leading complex projects and teams
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
