About the Role

NTT DATA Services is seeking a dedicated and innovative Performance Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our ongoing projects and will involve collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance our Oracle eBusiness Suite and bespoke applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Client Managers, Project Coordinators, Business Analysts, and Testing Teams to ensure efficient resolution of all project-related issues, enhancements, and system tickets.
  • Technical Analysis: Analyze technical issues reported by client teams, identifying root causes and implementing effective remediation strategies utilizing Oracle PLSQL and associated technologies.
  • Agile Participation: Engage in daily SCRUM meetings, planning sessions, and weekly status updates to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members to propose and implement process enhancements, policy updates, and strategies to elevate customer service experiences.
  • Peer Review: Conduct peer testing, code reviews, and impact assessments of modules developed by fellow team members.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Technical Presentations: Occasionally present on technical topics or demonstrate systems to small groups.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in PL/SQL and SQL development.
  • Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL development, including Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and data migration scripts.
  • Experience in developing and debugging complex PLSQL packages, handling large datasets, and optimizing performance.
  • Familiarity with UNIX shell scripting and debugging.
  • Knowledge of version control tools such as Stash and GITHUB, as well as release management tools like Jenkins.
  • Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint) and application lifecycle management tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies and SCRUM practices.
Educational Background

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience is required.
