About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at AMAZING BAKERY. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure a well-stocked inventory.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
  • Production Scheduling: Draw up production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and overtime required.
