About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Production Specialist to join our team at 6620922 Canada Inc. as a key member of our bakery operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of products, including bread, pastries, and cakes, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Baking and Decorating: Bake mixed dough and batters, prepare special orders, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods, and operate machinery as required.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large volume bakery and central food commissary. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and stand for extended periods.
