We are seeking a skilled Bakery Production Specialist to join our team at AMAZING BAKERY. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure a smooth production process.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas and operating machinery.
- Special Orders: Prepare special orders, including wedding and specialty cakes, donuts, and muffins.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and tight deadlines.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail and manual dexterity required.
- Work Schedule: 30 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
