Position Overview

Cynthia Weng Pharmacy Inc. is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program, or a non-university certificate or diploma lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a related field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, package, and label various pharmaceutical products.
  • Process billing for third-party insurance providers.
  • Formulate oral solutions, ointments, and creams as per prescriptions.
  • Manage inventory of medications and maintain accurate prescription records.
  • Handle claims related to health insurance and workers' compensation.
  • Ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Organize and oversee inventory management.
  • Provide assistance to healthcare professionals as needed.
