About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at PRIDE GROUP LOGISTICS LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Transportation Activities: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless transportation operations.
  • Perform Administrative Duties: Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Dispatch Personnel: Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient transportation services.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices to ensure compliance.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses to ensure optimal vehicle maintenance.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics to ensure the successful execution of transportation services.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Transportation, Private sector.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Windows.
  • Service Experience: Experience in the trucking industry.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, organization, reliability, accuracy, and a strong work ethic.
