Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Operations Supervisor to join our team at Canamex-Carbra Transportation Services Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our truck drivers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and optimal use of resources.
  • Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate the movement of goods, including scheduling, routing, and tracking.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of truck drivers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all company vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and that drivers adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on transportation operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the transportation industry
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Office and warehouse settings
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as required
