About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at World Wide ASG Logistics Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials from one place to another.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans: Create and execute logistics plans to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials.
  • Coordinate with Suppliers and Customers: Communicate with suppliers and customers to ensure that their needs are met and that logistics operations are running smoothly.
  • Manage Inventory and Warehouse Operations: Oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods and materials, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and that warehouse operations are running efficiently.
  • Monitor and Analyze Logistics Performance: Track and analyze logistics metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize logistics operations.
  • Supervise Logistics Team Members: Lead and manage a team of logistics coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure that team members are meeting their responsibilities.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay current with industry trends and developments, ensuring that logistics operations are aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in logistics software and systems.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Urban area, transportation, freight forwarding, warehouse, and head office.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding role.
