Job Summary:

Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (La commission scolaire du Nunavik) is seeking an experienced Administration Technician – Contracts to provide administrative technical support for the issuance of tenders and the management of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and validate contract management documents in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies;
  • Monitor contracts, including balance, deadlines, and closing processes;
  • Prepare quotes and tender documents with the participation of the requesting administration unit;
  • Participate in tender monitoring and answer technical questions from service providers;
  • Complete follow-up documents and close bidding files;
  • Collaborate in the preparation of contract management information for the annual report;
  • Render accounts to the Secrétariat du Conseil du trésor;

Requirements:

  • College diploma in administration, procurement, or equivalent discipline;
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience in administration and/or contract management;
  • Proficiency in French and ability to read, write, and understand the language;
  • Relevant experience in bidding and tendering, including drafting, analyzing, and monitoring;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office System, particularly Word and Excel;

Assets:

  • Knowledge of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies and its regulations;
  • Knowledge of SEAO and the Conseil du Trésor's public procurement Extranet;

Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with partial telework possible.

Classification/Salary/Benefits: In accordance with the AENQ collective agreement for support staff, this position belongs to job category 4211, with a salary range of $24.21 to $32.32 per hour, depending on qualification and experience. Benefits include 20 days paid vacation, 2-week paid holiday period, free parking, and more.
