Department Manager - Quality Assurance

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to oversee the production and merchandising of product at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office.

As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the best quality of Pane Fresco Rotisserie products, providing customers with courteous and timely service, while achieving maximum sales and profit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and set up the department, maintaining proper inventory levels and ensuring proper signage is made up and put up correctly.
  • Ensure the maintenance of equipment and the safety and sanitation of the department, as per Company Policy.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring courteous customer relations at all times.
  • Monitor and control department expenses, ensuring profitability.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the hot foods industry, with a minimum of 3 years' management experience in either a restaurant or fast food operation.
  • Post secondary education in culinary preparation, such as line cooking procedures, is a definite asset.
