Hotel Operations Manager

Sunshine Village is a premier ski resort in Western Canada, seeking a skilled Hotel Manager to oversee the general operations of its slope-side hotel.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional guest experiences by leading a team of Front Desk, Bell Desk, and Housekeeping staff.
- Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer and other Resort departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and implement a hotel service delivery program to exceed guest expectations.
- Lead by example, participating in work performed by Supervisors and overseeing employee actions in responsible areas.
- Stay up-to-date with hotel and lodging industry standards and best practices.
- Previous experience in a senior, high-end hotel leadership role (3-5 years preferred).
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or similar program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and PMS Maestro or similar reservations/guest management database programs.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and etiquette skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

This role requires the ability to operate a vehicle and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally. The successful candidate will be a team player, able to provide training, support, and assistance to responsible departments, and others. They will also be able to conduct, attend, and actively participate in meetings and training inside and outside of departments.
This position is subject to all terms and conditions of the Sunshine Village Employee Handbook and Policy Manual, and the Alberta Employment Standards Code.
