Hotel Operations Manager

Sunshine Village is a premier ski resort in Western Canada, seeking a skilled Hotel Manager to oversee the general operations of its slope-side hotel. As a key member of the resort's leadership team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience by ensuring seamless hotel operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, bell desk, and housekeeping.
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement quality initiatives to ensure high standards of service and quality.
- Collaborate with other resort departments, vendors, and contractors to ensure effective service delivery.
- Manage budgets, inventory, and supplies to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- 3-5 years of experience in a senior hotel leadership role.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and PMS Maestro or similar reservations/guest management database programs.
