Hotel Operations Manager

Sunshine Village is a premier ski resort in Western Canada, seeking a skilled Hotel Manager to oversee the general operations of its slope-side hotel. As a key member of the resort's leadership team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience by ensuring seamless hotel operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee hotel operations, including front desk, bell desk, and housekeeping
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement quality initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction
- Manage budgets, inventory, and supplies
- Participate in financial analysis and reviews
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest complaints
- Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure seamless operations
- 3-5 years of experience in a senior hotel leadership role
- Diploma or degree in hotel management or a related field
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PMS Maestro or similar reservations/guest management database programs
